Stephanie Stano has spent the past 16 years in financial and retirement plan consulting. Her primary role is to provide comprehensive consulting services for all aspects of her clients' retirement plans, including plan design, market reviews, fee benchmarking, merger and acquisition due diligence, employee communications, and compliance support. Her customized approach allows her team to focus on clients' and participants' overall satisfaction, employee retirement readiness, and mitigation of
risk for the employer. Through her experience, she brings a broad knowledge and insight to managing vendor relationships, most recently supporting plans in the mid to large market segment.
With her specialized team, Stephanie supports clients with issues related to investments, plan operation, plan administrative services, employee education, and compliance assistance. She also provides education to employers to help ensure they understand their roles and responsibilities as fiduciaries to their plans. Stephanie is passionate about enhancing retirement plans and offers total commitment to her clients, as illustrated by her strong client retention rate over the past eight years.
Stephanie holds the FINRA Series 7 and 66 registrations through LPL Financial, maintains her Life and Health insurance license, and holds the Accredited Investment Fiduciary designation.
Stephanie was recognized nationally by the National Association of Plan Advisors "NAPA" as a 2015 top retirement plan advisor under 40. She was the only person in Colorado and one of only five women in the country to win this award. Stephanie was also recognized by NAPA as one of the top female advisors in the retirement industry for 2015.**
She is a participant in the Adams County Economic Development Group and the Home Builders Association of Colorado.
Stephanie, her husband and their son reside in Denver, where they enjoy all that Colorado has to offer. During the winter, she and her family can be found on the ski slopes, and in the summer months, they enjoy hiking, swimming and playing outside.

Michael Jolie has 15 years of experience in the retirement plan arena. As part of his services, he provides plan design assistance and benchmarking services, vendor and investment analysis, as well as fiduciary education to Western Wealth Benefits clients. He partners with his clients to deliver customized advice and guidance on all aspects of their retirement plan including their roles and responsibilities as fiduciaries.
Prior to establishing Western Wealth Benefits, he was a partner at a Denver based Wealth Advisory & Retirement Plans practice. Additionally, he has 12 years of experience developing and consulting with group employee benefit clients, which provides him with a comprehensive understanding of plan sponsors needs and concerns.
Michael earned a bachelor’s degree in business with an emphasis in marketing and economics from Eastern Connecticut State University. He is also an Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®). Michael holds FINRA 7 and 66 securities registrations through LPL Financial, as well and Life and Health Insurance licenses.
Michael is a participant in the Adams County Economic Development organization, has been involved with the Home Builders Association of Metro Denver and is a past Associate of the Year for the Home Builders Association. He has been active in the community, raising money through the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, the St. Baldrick’s organization, the March of Dimes and the Wounded Warrior Project.
Michael, his wife and daughter reside in Highlands Ranch and enjoy snowboarding, adventure running, shooting sports and fishing.
Monica has worked in the financial sector since 2007 and prior to that she was a licensed tax preparer. She truly enjoys helping her clients navigate the world of investing and understands that investing can be an emotional process. Her goal is to be an educator and objective partner with each of her clients to help manage the emotions of investing, which she believes, will lead to better investment decisions. Monica also believes that as she works with each of her clients to develop their individual investment plan, she may also help them aim to avoid potential obstacles or “land mines” that aren’t immediately obvious. She looks forward to meeting and talking with you as you wind your way along the road toward retirement.
